Wish all my readers a very happy new year. With the start of the new year, let’s look at some new trends which are going to be the new high in the coming year. Something totally unique & out of the box.
Here are a few tips to jazz up our homes this new year and give it a trendy fresh look at making the surroundings lively & vibrant.
Its time to move away from the monochromatic & subtle & welcome the new year with a splash of colours
BOLD:
Unlike the regular practice of having a just one focal wall with dark colour, start with adding pastel dark colours on all walls which will complement each other.
FLOORING & CEILING:
Don’t stop with the bold colour on the walls, the theme can flow on the floor as well as the ceiling.
Just to add a sense of wow you can add a little geometric motif on the ceiling.
ADD COLOR IN FURNISHINGS:
Bold colours in furnishings like curtains, bedspreads, rugs can be added to get the total look.
FURNITURE PIECES:
With the walls being bold and beautiful keep the furniture light fittings to the bare minimum to balance out the look.
ADD A TOUCH OF ART:
A small piece of modern art will go a long way when it comes to giving the space a personal touch.
